Previously, there was information about a Collection of all Resident Evil games in 3 box sets, each box set will include 3 Resident Evil trilogy games, a box will include 2 parts 7 and 8, with the name It’s called Biohazard: Episode Selection in Japan. It is expected that this collection will be released in Japan in November, and may have separate information for other markets, especially the West. Chances are it will be revealed on October 29.
The focus of the two information that will be revealed on October 22 are the two Resident Evil movie trailers: one is about Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City produced by Sony; one trailer is about the movie game adaptation project produced by Netflix itself. The difference between these two movies is that Sony’s version is based entirely on the two plots in RE1 & 2, while Netflix’s project revolves around the Wesker family – the main antagonist of the game.
It’s time for Capcom to drop the chain for the Resident Evil 8 DLC, a lot of theories about this RE8 DLC have been put forward, and among them are 2 DLCs that could revolve around Chris Redfield or Ada Wong. Many rumors suggest that the DLC may be released in the near future, hoping to see Dai Dimitrescu again in this DLC.
A lot of rumors revolve around part 3 of Revelation, in the leaked rumors from Capcom mentioning a sequel but renamed Resident Evil Outrage. In it, players will play the role of 2 characters, the 2 main characters are rumored to be Rebecca Chambers and Leon Kennedy. The plot takes place after the CGI movie Resident Evil Vendetta, as well as set in the time after Resident Evil 7 and before Resident Evil 8. The game’s main antagonist is Natalia Burton – Barry Burton’s daughter influenced by the personality of Alex Wesker, the antagonist of part 2 Revelation. It is known that this game will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
Since Resident Evil 4 will have a remake, many gamers wonder why Capcom ignored a potential remake project – RE Code Veronca? It is likely that this is one of the information that gamers hope is a surprise that may be released on this October 21. Code Veronica is a spin-off about the reunion of the two Redfield brothers, accompanied by plots revolving around Albert Wesker. Although it was not a commercial success, it has quite a lot of potential for Capcom to remake and create a good story like what they did in Resident Evil 2 Remake.
There are also quite a few rumors surrounding RE projects such as the expansion of Resident Evil 3 Remake, the project in cooperation with the game maker Dead By Daylight, the co-op game RE Verse, etc.
