Pacers' Haliburton in Doubt for Crucial Game 3 with Nagging Hamstring

The Indiana Pacers’ chances of making the playoffs have just decreased. Tyrese Haliburton, the star guard, may be out of the Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 against the Boston Celtics because of his bothersome left hamstring flare-up.

After barely eight minutes of play in the second half of Game 2, Haliburton quit the game early due to an injury. The Pacers ultimately suffered a 126-110 loss, which left them in a precarious 0-2 hole in the series.

Haliburton has experienced issues with his hamstring on previous occasions. Due to a similar injury, he missed 10 games earlier in the season; the Pacers were 6-4 without him. The stakes are much higher today, so if he’s out again, they’ll need to summon the same fortitude.

Haliburton tried to play through his soreness at halftime, according to Pacers coach Rick Carlisle. Sadly, it didn’t get any better, and in the end, the trainers had to remove him.

One bright spot for the Celtics is that center Kristaps Porzingis, out since the opening round, is nearing a comeback and may even suit up for Game 4. You shouldn’t expect him to be back on the court just yet, though, as they’re not pushing him.

Due to a left wrist strain, center Luke Kornet, another member of the Celtics, is also questionable for Game 3.

The Pacers are optimistic about their prospects despite the possible blow of losing Haliburton, especially because they have won all of their home postseason games. But with a 2-0 lead, the Celtics want to maintain their momentum and pick up those two more victories to advance to the NBA Finals.

Therefore, the Pacers will need to persevere and find a way to win without their best player when the series moves to Indianapolis, while the Celtics will try to seize the opportunity and put the Pacers in danger of losing. It promises to be an exciting ride!
