It’d actually be cheaper to do it tax based since we’d be cutting out the profit making middleman that is big pharma. American flag oakland raiders full printing face mask For profit medicine is not ethical nor morally right.

if you’re paying higher taxes to pay for health care for everyone, then you’re not paying for private insurance. So how will they be struggling any more than they are? American flag oakland raiders full printing face mask Pharma wouldn’t be able to charge 600x the cost it is to make a medicine. Hospitals won’t be able to charge $40 for an aspirin. Please tell me how this is currently a good thing? The problem here is people are afraid of change and refuse to be open-minded about it. The Affordable Care Act was a start, but it was all wrong. The intentions were good though. Our government needs to study the health care systems of other countries that have a successful universal health care system and use it as a basis for our own, and we’re not doing that. first off, the USA is supposed to be the richest country in the world, and you want me to believe the Uk can afford universal healthcare and the US can’t?
Secondly, most of the military budget goes into research and development of new weapons and army technologies, projects that are abandoned most of the time! Meaning a complete waste of funds. Out of the military budget very little actually goes into protecting anyone. On a third point there’s a special section of the military devoted to NATO. Every nation must provide a little depending on the size of their country and their level of development as a nation, not based upon the US’s military at all. Fourthly the development of many drugs is paid by government grants paid by our taxes, but in the end the company who develops them with tax money gets to reap the profits with almost no price regulation. Which is why epipens cost 600-800 bucks. A fucking-life-saving-cheap to make medicine costs that much in the US. Because of lobbyists paying congressmen, senators, and the media to brainwash you into thinking we can’t afford it.
