even within our clinic only faculty attendings are cleared to see some government insurances, and some are not accepted at all due to us not being fiscally able to see them due to no reimbursement for our services. I wait after I give my 25 dolla copay….then I get weighed and wait in a smaller room, wtf are you taking about? Wait times, we all wait….like who the hell was ever scene on time??? The government rather buy more tanks and planes for a war that will never end!!  Wow guys do you live in the US? I have a small copay for Dr visit, specialist, and emergency. Insurance covers almost everything after I meet my deductible.

I’ve never had to wait in lines for anything and never waited months for a specialist. Also never had a dr tell me they didn’t accept my insurance. Only thing I can remember my family or friends complaining about is the deductible and a rare occurrence of dr not accepting insurance. There are also tons of doctors within a very reasonable distance so it ends up as a minir inconvenience. Just gotta say that US healthcare does work really well for some. we have universal healthcare here in Australia. Yes wait times can sometime be longer but quality of health is pretty good and at least you’ll be seen by GP rather than getting no help at all. EpiPen cost 99 dollars here. Inhaler (ventolin) is like 6 dollars. I am happy not to be in US.  Id rather wait 6 months, and have regular check ups every 6 months or a year, than avoiding going for years and end up terminally ill because I couldn’t afford to go. Millions of americans dont go to the doctor at ALL or postpone going due to cost.
