I live in Las Vegas and trust we won’t be opening soon with the plan Governor Sisolak has for us. Namaste 6 feet away face mask Trust me, us ,the residents of Las Vegas are not big fans of her. She doesn’t have the power to open up Las Vegas, Sisolak does and he won’t.

I think it’s a bit cruel to say that people are stupid for having voted for her since it would’ve been safe to assume that she would act similarly to the former mayor. Clearly not the case now; but, hindsight is 20-20. Namaste 6 feet away face mask I live in AL and she pretty much got the job the same way the LV mayor did; the gov had to step down and the Reds voted her in despite the fact she refused a debate. However, she just recently rebuffed Mo Brooks who wanted to reopen AL before even her order was up so… I dunno, something about a stopped clock…  I live in Alabama and when Ivey said that I was dumbfounded. She has been in politics long enough to not say stuff like that. I knew she would come back a day or more later and announce the state would close.

Our Lt Gov asked on Twitter the other day what Alabamians thought about youth baseball opening on May 11th. He said he asked 23 parents of kids who his kids play baseball with and all 23 parents said yes let’s open it back up. Ugh!  I totally agree with you and her specific number of “open cases” are only the confirmed cases, that just means others could have it in your state and just not have been tested yet. So no one in any state knows for sure the real number of actual cases. It’s crazy to start opening things back up when we don’t even have a handle on this virus yet, especially restaurants and casinos. Deep Breaths everyone, she’s just the major of Las Vegas, not the Governor of Nevada.
