We have to hold our politicians to account no matter what party they are affiliated with I wouldn’t say this is Trump level, as he didn’t resort to name calling or saying this questions was terrible and biased. I do agree with his overall point, death is worse than poverty. He clearly said he understood how bad mental issues are, but better to deal with that than potential death. In a nutshell he said all the the things that were very bad, but not worse than death. He said “it doesn’t equal death” in regards to mental illness and DV.

Many times it does lead to death. That’s all I’m saying. I did not agree with his attitude on this he meant it didn’t lead directly to death. I understand your point but his point is greater than that. We have to deal with step one before step 2. If your body doesn’t survive, what good is it to worry about mental health? His point is as difficult as these situations are, we can still attempt to deal with them. You get the virus or give it to someone else, well that’s still worse. It’s picking the lesser of 2 evils.  suicide is Mental disorder and basically I see it as a choice in life ! A virus which there is no cure for is unknown and contagious ! So which one do you think you’d rather deal with is the real question ? like I said, it is not one or the other.
