Yes that’s exactly what it means. You’re famous. You’re successful because the world knows who you are. Now that we have made you rich and famous you want to die in peace? It’s like selling your soul to the devil. Yea. So what if he’s a “basketball” celebrity? He’s still a celebrity. Doesn’t matter what your passion is Rip Gianna Bryant and Kobe Bryant 3D all over printed shirt if you pursue a career that requires you to be in the spotlight. You have to take what comes with it. Hate flying of any sort but would definitely never go in a helicopter unless I was in a sinking ship with no other way out!
My husband flew over New York recently but I stayed in the ground, they had only had a crash the day before. For the number of helicopters that fly there are far too many, usually fatal, crashes. RIP all of those who died in this crash Statistics are still fairly low for helicopters. Not that I like them. I’d much prefer aeroplane travel for aviation. But for the 100,000 flight hours last year only 0.82 helicopters suffered crashes which is fairly low. I believe the recent crash was completely avoidable as the conditions would have grounded most helis that day.
