i was 73 when i was diagnosed and have had mamms every year since i was 25. had my yearly one last march and was diagnosed in april. they found it fast. surgery in june…chemo aug. thru dec…radiation over 2 days from today. my prognosis is good. early detection is truly the key! Maybe you are misunderstanding me: I started having mamms The avengers no one fights alone breast cancer awareness all over printed hoodie  when I was 25; the cancer did not show up until my last mam which was last April when I was 73. The cancer was not there for 25 years. This is so frightening since I have been experiencing dry coughs and shortness of breaths for more than 2 years since I started a new job!

I’m 28 years old and have been going to the doctors multiple times but they haven’t been able to find the cause! I’m booking an appointment tomorrow specifically to see if I need a referral for a mammogram! it is scary to think that this disease + heart disease have so many symptoms that could be ignored by thinking it is a common cold type issue.. I guess it is best to keep up with your health with regular doctor visits they need to tell breast oncologists this! i had most of those symptoms and my breast specialist said, “you know you can’t feel breast cancer.”
