about breeding thoughts and attitudes. That cognitive work is important. However, therapy &/or medication is also important. It is often needed–if only to get past the bad times. Personal cognitive therapy, an internal ~wait, that’s not true! is beneficial. But it can take years to get there. Anyone having problems with anxiety, depression, or other issues should seek professional help. I do not agree with that statement that “depression is anger turned inwards”. It is a medical condition and needs to be treated as such.
