I am 51 and I was diagnosed with ALL in August! You may know but this but it is a leukemia it is most prominent in children 21 years or younger! I’ve been treated at OU medical in OKC, This is how i save the world san antonio spurs full printing face mask OK since day one! It may make a difference because it’s a “Teaching Hospital”??? I have to say the staff, pharmacist & caseworkers have been amazing. I spent over 150 days in the hospital & my IV treatments were outrageous along with the chemo pills that I had to take! Thank God that I have Medicare because it has taken care of 80% of all of my medical bills and medications! I also have Atnea for medications! My chemo pill just for 30 day supply is over $10,000!
But I was able to through extra funding and grant programs to get extra assistance & only have to pay around $40 out of pocket monthly! All of these people I mentioned, along w my Oncologist & the programs offered handled everything. My daughter had to talk to maybe 2-3 people during the process that moved along very fast! I am willing to help make calls, email etc or whatever I can do to find you some help with the chemo treatment cost!!! Many Prayers My son was just diagnosed with tcell leukemia last month. It still doesn’t seem real. I cry every night we were in the hospital for 2 weeks when he was first diagnosed. His little body has been so week and he has major swelling from the meds. This has to be one of the hardest things we have ever been through My son is fighting cancer.
