However, we do count every covid-19 related death as a covid death, even if the person was not tested. This is the best way to estimate correctly the real number of death caused by covid-19. Lynyrd skynyrd confederate flag all over printed face mask In the US, many states don’t count the death without a positive result (and for a long time, there was not enough testing), some don’t count death at home or in nursing home. If you compare US excess death and US covid death, you have a huge gap, this means you under count your death. The big difference between US and Canada is that our govt listen to public health experts instead of going against their advices So I can refuse to call a man in a dress a woman and not worry about jail time under C-16?
technically no the provincial governments are responsible for care homes and health care Ontario and Quebec got hit hard but provinces like Saskatchewan or Manitoba fared a lot better100%!! It’s a sad state of affairs here in the USA. What would the numbers look like if you took out the deaths from long-term care homes? I think that’s a more realistic picture. Nope, many are privately owned, and a portion is managed by the provincial The Federal government doesn’t manage them. Some are operated by the province they’re in, and many others are private. My answer did not seem clear, Here in Quebec there are two types of homes private and public. The private ones do not get any money from the government and the public ones are run by the government.
