We would wrestle play and he would open his jaws around my arm (id always wear a big jumper) and he would softly close his mouth while pulling back until he just had a hold of the jumper then he would bite. All while full on playing, he was such a gentle dog. the mother teaches this to them starting around 5 weeks. If you ever see a mother go up to her pups in her litter biting their muzzles
