Sometime we have to teach hearing people to communicate.  I do too. I was born like this. I hate it. Ppl with perfect hearing are so lucky they don’t know what it’s like. I get so infuriated by people who don’t understand that they have to speak louder, or look at her.

She can read lips really really good. But if she isn’t looking at them she can’t hear them if she doesn’t have her hearing aids in. I am always the first one to jump in when someone is rude or disrespectful to a person that can’t hear. I always taught my daughter she doesn’t have a disability everyone else does.
