I’m sorry, I know you may laugh and smile and you certainly can have good memories, but people who’ve lost a child will always have a whole in their hearts and you never get over losing a child. I’m so thankful that my boys are like the sister in this video. They are always reaching out to those who are “different” and making friends with them. I used to watch from a distance sometimes, when they were in elementary school, and just smile. I worked at the school they went to. I was all over, in and out of classrooms, so they never knew where I’d be. It would often bring tears to my eyes to see them defend the one being bullied, sit with the one all alone, tell jokes to the one crying, on and on. I never had to worry about how they treated others. I’m truly blessed and thankful for all four of my kiddos. I wish the younger two could have known their sister, but she lives in them through the stories I share with them. She’ll never be forgotten!!!
