sometimes mother’s will do anything for their children- even it’s not wearing a mask she was in isolation with him- maybe she didn’t want to scare her child- Don’t be so quick to judge it’s not your kid-  at the hospital I work at, Personalized dallas cowboys charlie and snoopy filter activated carbon face mask the parents in the room are to wear PPE the whole hospital stay. I dont know why she wasn’t made to do that, because she’s risking getting it and taking it home to everybody else. How can you claim the hospital is irresponsible? Do you know hospital guidelines? Do you know what a negative pressure room is? Do you know the sanitation process when a patient with this or other similar diseases are discharged?

It’s irresponsible to judge others on a public forum when you are ignorant to facts. they are isolating in a room. So the virus only stays in that room and dies off, nurses are told to wear ppe when entering the room and they discard before they leave the room. And when patients get discharged the rooms are thoroughly sanitized. You can teach children to cover their mouths and they will, but when they are sick and not feeling well struggling to breathe and/or with fever you dont trouble their small minds with that or anything exceptwhats needed to care for them. You immediately take care of them at any/all risk to yourself. That’s what mothers do!!! My grands know to cover coughs, but when sick with colds they sneeze and cough directly in my face.
