ESA is still concidered medication for a medical need and the requirements to travel with an ESA are much stricter then they are for a trained service dog. ESA require a doctors letter along with 2 other documents while a trained service dog only requires no paperwork or sometimes at the very least a single letter from a vet showing the dog has received a rabies shot.
