We all know and enjoy DTG, screen, and/or transfer printing, and we can picture the stamp of the machine focused on one specific area, suspending the image in negative space, on those occasions. A word that refers to a specific garment printing method that covers every inch of the garment. One of the few ways to tell if the cloth was all-over printed is to look at the seams, the hem, and other details like the zippers, which aren’t visible in conventional and more common types of garment printing. Designers typically provide 2-5mm of extra room on either side of the final graphic to ensure it makes it onto the final garment completely. If the graphic spreads into the “bleed zone,” you can trim the outer-fringe to your liking to avoid a white eyesore. Similarly, the inner portion of the design might be referred to as the “trim zone” when it is reduced to its final dimensions.
