Good news continues to call BTS members’ names in the first days of the year
Suga (bts) becomes Valentino’s global ambassador
With the influence of a globally famous group, it is not surprising that each member of BTS has, in turn, “caught the eye” of luxury fashion giants. Just the other day, Dior announced that Jimin was selected as the brand’s global ambassador; Today, Valentino follows in the footsteps of announcing that his bandmate Suga has become his global ambassador.
Thus, both Jimin and Suga successfully signed ambassadorial contracts with international luxury brands after starting their solo careers. Previously, BTS was the global ambassador of Louis Vuitton. After two years of cooperation, both sides officially ended the contract.
According to Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, member Suga is “a versatile artist, an interpreter. Suga’s talent and musical products always create a source of energy and authenticity. It perfectly embodies everything a Di.VAs, (Different Values – Valentino ambassadors) stand for Diversity, inclusion, creativity, and passion.”
Speaking regarding the new ambassadorial role, Suga stated, “Me and designer Pierpaolo Piccioli both support diversity, that’s what I believe in.”
The first project that Suga will be involved in as the brand’s new ambassador is the Maison Valentino Essentials campaign. In it, the male singer will show off his outstanding fashion style through the brand’s essential items.
