Tommy Hilfiger designed the new monogram pattern with renowned British artist and graphic designer, Fergus Purcell. Drawing on the company’s history and incorporating a unique contemporary creative concept, the monogram pattern reimagines the core DNA of the Tommy Hilfiger brand and will make its debut in the Fall 2022 collection.
This new design is the result of thorough research into the history of Tommy Hilfiger. Purcell has boldly reinterpreted the design of the brand’s classics by creating a monogram that integrates the letters T and H with a mix of contemporary and classic. From there, bringing a new interface to Preppy – the main style of the high-end fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger.
“Since 1985, the ‘TH’ monogram has represented true prep style with a sophisticated design that works for everyone,” says Tommy Hilfiger. He added: “Fergus Purcell is an inspiring companion. His profound approach and close connection with street culture make his creations different and unique. It is truly an honor to join him in redesigning the brand’s Monogram motif for 2022 and beyond.”
Fergus also shared: “What makes me so excited about the brand lies in its huge influence, colorful colors, confidence, and also very trendy”. He added: “The desire to create something new and iconic but at the same time feel nostalgic are the inspirations that contributed to my design. I’m really pleased with what I’ve done.”
Purcell’s new pattern inspired Tommy Hilfiger’s “TH Monogram” collection, bringing the evolving spirit of East Coast fashion through trendy outfits for men, women, and women. children.
Premium monogram motifs are created in the brand’s signature colors including red, navy, and white. Monogram motifs are covered on the entire surface of puffers, accessories, or unisex outfits; while iconic Rocky Parker products and high-fashion workwear lines will be embellished with artistically symmetrical TH lattice monograms. This design change has brought flexibility and dynamism to the brand.
Exquisite design and meticulous attention to every small detail enhance the product’s value. These include everyday wear handcrafted with premium wool and recycled yarn or classic items made from recycled materials and premium jacquard fabric.
