yes, sexual orientation is a protected class in 22 states, I do beleive most of not all do have discrimination and public accomodation laws protecting race/religion/etc. Sexual orientation is just being added as a protected class is all. That being said, to say this is acceptable because of religious freedom is the rankedy form of hypocrisy.
Nothing that Jesus ever said speaks to homosexuality at all! I’m not homophobic. I have nothing against Gays and would’ve baked the cake for them. But I’m not a Christian. Jesus represented a religion that has spoken against homosexuality. That’s a fact. although the name Christianity comes from the name of Christ, Jesus did not “represent” religion. We who call ourselves Christian are supposed to represent the philosophy that Jesus Christ espoused. But you know it is an individual thing,
